Questions & Answers

Will I have to remove my clothing?
Being clothed is your choice. If choosing to be undressed, you will be covered at all times between sheets. Only target areas are uncovered as they are being addressed.
Will I be in pain after the massage?
On a RARE occasion, when focusing to a specific area with deep pressure, there can be a SLIGHT discomfort the next day. However, techniques are used to avoid this as much as possible.
Who pays for my massage?
Have you checked your extended health coverage at work lately? Most companies do cover full or partial coverage for massage therapy. So it's best to check with them for the specifics of your available coverage.
What kind of oil is used?
We actually don't use oil. Instead, we use a lotion that has vitamin E and Aloe Vera in it. Which doesn't leave you feeling greasy.
What if during the treatment, I decide I don’t like massage?
You are in control at all times. If for any reason you would like to stop the treatment, you just simply say so. And the treatment is stopped, no questions asked.
How many times will I have to come back?
This varies with each individual. Often people come in for one treatment, and are given home care excercises that they follow through with. Some people find it more beneficial to come for a few treatments to get things going in the right direction.
Are there Registered Massage Therapists?
Yes there are. All therapists here are registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
